Video Production

Using Procreate and Adobe Premiere Pro, I created some animations that allowed me to develop and integrate skills in stop-motion graphics, illustration, and video editing within a single project. The primary video represents my final outcome, while the piece below captures an earlier stage of experimentation as I began exploring and refining these techniques.

This project quickly became a standout experience due to the level of creative freedom it offered, enabling me to fully invest my ideas and passion into the work. The intuitive and flexible nature of the software supported an open, exploratory process, allowing me to push my designs further and experiment with more ambitious visual concepts.

The project idea

The idea for the final project was a music video in the style of illustration animation. This is in the format of a stop motion animation - still images to make up a video. Each still image will have its own illustration on. The illustrations chose for this video are both colourful and dull to accompany the meaning of this song and show it both literally and metaphorically. This style has been chosen specifically as it is a technique i am very interested in and wanted to take further after a small experiment, turning it into something more meaningful with a purpose.
