Developing my personal brand for the creative industry

In the process of creating my portfolio, ive decided to created some personal branding (business card mock-ups and logo design) to go alongside the work im presenting. The main part of this branding is based around the logo as that will be seen on all material used to brand myself and it is the most memorable part.

I used Procreate to create the logo as i find that the easiest way to carry out any illustration work. To make the logo i used a picture of myself as inspiration and drew out an outline of it. Once happy with that i filled it in with the colours that best matched the picture. I decided to include no facial features with a creative purpose of being a mystery (reminds me of Banksy and how nobody knows who he is). I converted it into a PNG and then it was good to use. I put it on my CV, Portfolio and business card mock-ups.

Once the logo was sorted, i decided to do some mock-ups of business cards using Canva. During the creative process, i wanted the main colour to be the same colour as my purple hair in the logo cause this is the feature i am usually most remembered for. I then used the same font that was in my portfolio so the branding was all connected and the same.
